-Clean hats according to their material—use a soft brush for dust removal on wool or straw hats, and gently scrub cloth hats with mild detergent and cold water. Avoid machine washing or soaking for a long time, as this can cause deformation, fading, or brim damage.
-After cleaning, reshape the hat and air-dry it in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Do not hang the hat by its brim, and avoid using a dryer, as heat can make the brim brittle and lose its original shape.
-Avoid wearing hats during activities involving sharp objects or heavy friction to prevent scratches, snags, or brim deformation. When not wearing the hat temporarily, place it on a flat surface or use a hat rack for storage to avoid squeezing the crown or brim.
-For long-term storage, ensure the hat is completely dry first, then place it in a breathable storage bag or box. Fill the crown with soft tissue paper to maintain its shape, and keep it away from humid environments and moth-prone areas to prevent mold and moth damage.
