-Clean your eye mask regularly—wash cloth eye masks with mild detergent in cold water by hand, and avoid machine washing or bleaching to prevent fabric damage. For silk eye masks, use a dedicated silk cleaner and gently press to remove water instead of twisting.
-After cleaning, air-dry the eye mask in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the fabric to fade and the elastic band to age. You can also disinfect it with a low-temperature dryer or UV disinfection box for a short time to kill bacteria.
-Adjust the elastic band to a comfortable tightness when wearing—do not make it too tight, which may compress the eye sockets and affect blood circulation; do not make it too loose, or it will not block light effectively. Replace the eye mask in time if the elastic band loses elasticity.
